Malay Mail’s 2 October Bernama report quotes Tourism Malaysia confirming 154 exhibitors from 35 countries at INTAC 2026. The organiser’s website had targeted 130 exhibitors from 10 countries. Tourism Malaysia lists the event for 2–4 October at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The organiser’s market overview includes Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, South Korea, Australia, Europe and Latin America; it is not a verified directory of individual buyers.

What this means for your Malaysia programme

The organiser’s 3 October conference programme advertised networking with 500+ tourism professionals and sessions involving UN Tourism, Muslim-friendly tourism and AI innovation. That is programme information, not an independently verified attendance count. For Hari-Hari and overseas agencies, the larger exhibition footprint is a reason to qualify potential partners carefully and prepare relevant Malaysia proposals.

  • Identify agencies that sell Malaysia or Southeast Asia, then ask about their source markets, group profiles and purchasing role.
  • Prepare separate B2B proposals for leisure groups, MICE and educational travel, with transport, hotels, guide-language requests and realistic routing.
  • After each introduction, agree on the next step and send a tailored itinerary. Confirm dates, availability and commercial terms before quoting firm commitments.

Hari-Hari’s commentary is independent. Exhibitor figures do not establish a confirmed buyer list, a partnership or Hari-Hari’s attendance at the event.
