Vietjet Thailand’s published announcement schedules its first direct Malaysia service from 9 October 2026. Flight VZ680 leaves Bangkok Suvarnabhumi at 11:00 and reaches Kuala Lumpur at 14:10; VZ681 returns at 15:15 and reaches Bangkok at 16:30, all local times. Trade coverage identifies KLIA Terminal 2 and a Boeing 737-8 configured with 189 seats. That represents planned daily capacity of 189 seats each way, not a count of passengers carried. This article reports the announced timetable rather than independently verified live flight operations.
What this means for your Malaysia programme
For Thai outbound agencies, the route offers another way to add Malaysia to a regional holiday. Hari-Hari’s commercial focus is on agencies already selling Thailand–Malaysia combinations, family groups, school travel and corporate incentives. Allow time for immigration, baggage collection and the airport transfer before scheduling the first activity. Recheck the timetable for the actual travel date before confirming hotels, coaches or visits.

- 4D3N Kuala Lumpur–Genting concept: arrive and settle in on day 1; explore Kuala Lumpur on day 2; take a Genting Highlands excursion on day 3; transfer to the airport on day 4. Three Kuala Lumpur nights keep hotel changes to a minimum. Cable-car tickets and attractions are subject to availability.
- 6D5N Bangkok–Kuala Lumpur–Melaka concept: spend days 1–2 in Bangkok with a Thai partner; fly to Kuala Lumpur on day 3; explore the city on day 4; visit Melaka on day 5; depart on day 6. Two Bangkok nights and three Kuala Lumpur nights make five nights, with Melaka as a day trip.
- Trade next step: published launch coverage lists AVIAREPS Malaysia at Thaivietjet.Kul@aviareps.com for sales support. Ask about group booking terms and partnership opportunities. For schools, define learning goals and supervision; for companies, confirm meeting needs. Keep airfares, baggage, ground services and cancellation terms clear in net-rate proposals.

Checked on 9 October 2026. Flight schedules, terminals, aircraft and prices can change. Itineraries are Hari-Hari planning concepts, not confirmed airline packages or evidence of an airline partnership. The previously advertised August fare promotion has ended.
