The China Outbound & Inbound Travel Market (COITM) is scheduled for 14–16 October 2026 at New Hall 11, National Agricultural Exhibition Center, Beijing. It connects overseas destinations and suppliers with Chinese outbound tour operators and business-travel buyers. The organiser expects around 3,000 trade visitors and buyers; this is a forecast, not an attendance result. MICE&more’s 5 October update reports more than 180 exhibitors from 31 countries or regions. Its newer forecast is over 2,000 Chinese trade visitors and buyers plus 200 international visitors; the organiser’s homepage still carries the broader 3,000 estimate.
What this means for your Malaysia programme
For Malaysia DMCs, the commercial opportunity is to meet agencies selling overseas holidays and corporate travel. Tourism Malaysia reports 1.4 million Chinese visitor arrivals in the first quarter of 2026, up 25.2% year-on-year. Hari-Hari’s recommendation is to explore supplier participation and prepare clear ground-handling proposals.

- Ask the organiser at Qqing@converge-expo.com about remaining exhibitor places, supplier access and buyer meetings before making travel commitments.
- Prepare a Simplified-Chinese B2B profile with net agent rates, inclusions, group sizes and booking terms.
- Offer Kuala Lumpur with Langkawi or Penang, plus Malaysia–Singapore programmes. Prepare separate MICE, incentive and educational tour proposals.

Checked on 7 October 2026. Participation, fees and meeting access must be confirmed with the organiser. Hari-Hari attendance or an official COITM partnership has not been confirmed. Photos illustrate destinations; they do not show COITM 2026.
